Tackle a Maze - Mazes are great especially if the builder of it has a sense of humour and this person did. It took me a little bit to find my way out and I was going against a clock. Maybe that made it harder, try it and see.

Rainforest Walks - National Parks and rainforests
are beautiful places to find lovely birds, fungi
spiders webs as well as waterfalls. If you are
lucky you may see the Lamington Spiny Crayfish.
Included in the category are boardwalks; birdhides
and even a bushranger hideout.

Fishing - Fishing is fun for all ages both fresh
and salt water, you don't need expensive rods
and reels - a handline is just as much fun.
Different activity sheets will have you fishing
from the beach or off a pier. Many waterfront parks
have jetties or platforms to fish from as well as
BBQ's to cook your catch and picnic tables to
enjoy the feast.
Water safety is paramount.

Skating Boarding & Bike Riding - is so much fun and great exercise,
I don't have many skate parks at the moment but I am always
on the lookout. Many of them include other activities
such as swings and dog off-leash areas, so there is something for
all the family.

Feeding Animals - This is a really fun option
even I still love feeding animals. There are a
few different places to chose from such as feeding pelicans
to king parrots to rosellas to turtles to farmyard
animals and I am sure the list will grow.

Kite Flying - Although you can take your own kite
on any of our activities why not check out the
Queensland Kite Flyer Society display at
Clontarf-Redcliffe on the 2nd and 4th Sundays
of each month between 12-4pm.

Scavenger Hunts - this is not a scavenger in the
normal sense as it is important to leave the
place you have visited in pristine condition
for the next person and the one after that.
Using the sheets you will need to find answers
to questions and then work out the secret message.
